New walls around me when I work like a zombie

Ah yes, the new apartment. We arein the new apartment. Everything went well. We had to pay moversto move some items we couldn't manage, like a couch with tworecliners built in. Things like that. One piece of furniture wasa giant glass tabletop to the desk that my computer sits on. Wellit was dropped and shattered into a million pieces. So themovers, who were very nice about it, replaced the piece of glassand gave us a free coffee table as well. Talk about my luckpicking up. No wait, yeah, that was it for luck.

This month I released aScience-Fair comic that was long in development. I had beenplanning on making a comic about the ridiculous emails I'd getfrom my friend Andy Lazzor. He'd write the most bizarre, nonsensical three sentences, and then I wouldn't hear from himfor another few weeks. It's still like that. Actually it's worsenow. I'm looking at the Pacific, and he's looking out at theAtlantic. He works like crazy, so it's harder to keep in touch.Anyways, I don't know if I had always planned on making thatcomic the way I did, with the colorforms method of construction. It was a lot of fun though. I was laughing the whole time I wasworking on it. I think that was because it was so easy to do. Ibuilt the whole comic in about two days, minus all the drawingand scanning time. The response so far to Email from Andy wasreal good, but I think a lot of people are scratching their headsat it. It's an inside joke kind of story, so I think peoplearen't sure if he's serious or not. He wasn't. He was joking.

I am on issue number six of theGypsy Lounge. I am somewhere towards the beginning of theprocess. I have been trying to keep track of how long it takesfor me to complete an issue, and what method works the best. Iend up building each issue the same way, so I guess that's theone that works best. I have laid out all the pages and panels, and put all the backgrounds in. Well, not all of them. Rightbefore I moved out here, I had taken over a hundred or sopictures with the digital camera from work, so I had all thenecessary shots to finish the storyline. Somewhere in the mix, Ilost an entire scene. There's four to six pages that take placein a lobby of an office building. I took those shots, but theynever made it to zip disk. So I am having my good friend back inPittsburgh, James, taking replacement photos for me. So thismakes for a tense situation and hopefully I can work around it.

Remember how I said I finally gotan internet connection on my machine? If I didn't mention itbefore, I get internet access through my computer now, finally. It worked really well for the first three hours, so I was able toupdate my website. But now, it freezes to a crawl when I try toaccess the page that would allow me to update my site. So now, Ihave an internet connection that won't allow me to fix mywebsite. So now, I have no idea who updated this, assuming thisends up out there and someone is reading it. The website issomething I wanted to keep up with, and it seems, for some reasonout of my control, it never happens. I am keeping it fairly up todate these days, but not as current as I'd like.
